This plan was central to a Bloomington Herald Times Editorial
Opinion that labeled our Raised Urban Interstate information from the
FEIS as: as
"...disinformation intended to mislead and frighten people."
as it accepted the proposed cross sections as
more
credible:
"But no, there will not be an elevated eyesore of a highway with 12 traffic-moving lanes, she* said.
There. Now you have it.
Herald-Times"
COUNT US! Libeled by the the Herald Times?
We have serious criticism of the Section 5 new Cross sections that are
- designed to look like existing SR 37,
- save money for the I-69 project,
- and to reduce the amount of land for the project.
We believe that what looks less "frightening" to the Bloomington Herald Times and *Wendy Vachet, the Section 5 consulting firm project manager (the "she" above), is in fact far more frightening if analyzed.
